Thank you all for your support and patience during this entire process! 💖

All orders have been sent out! Including any online store orders post Kickstarter.

To those asking about future hats, I'll be contacting my manufacturer shortly within the next two weeks to see how they're doing and also get a consensus from Twitter on which hats they would like to see make another short appearance before the end of the summer.

I'm thankful for undergoing this experience and with what I've learned I can only make the next project more organized and fun for everyone 💪✨

If you have any further questions please email me or message me directly on the Kickstarter platform.

⚠️International orders will be going out from tomorrow up until Saturday.

COVID-19 And Shipping
almost 4 years ago – Fri, May 01, 2020 at 04:33:02 PM

Because I'm in the process of sending out the residual orders, here are some important tips to help protect you and your family when receiving any packages in the mail!

"In general, because of poor survivability of these coronaviruses on surfaces, there is likely very low risk of spread from products or packaging that are shipped over a period of days or weeks at ambient temperatures. Coronaviruses are generally thought to be spread most often by respiratory droplets. Currently there is no evidence to support transmission of COVID-19 associated with imported goods and there have not been any cases of COVID-19 in the United States associated with imported goods." (source)

"Hard, shiny surfaces such as plastic, stainless steel, bench-tops, and likely glass can support infectious virus, expelled in droplets, for up to 72 hours. But the virus rapidly degrades during this time. On fibrous and absorbent surfaces such as cardboard, paper, fabric and hessian, it becomes inactive more quickly." (source)

If you are still concerned about contracting the virus through mail packages, spray the packaged with disinfectant and wait to open for AT LEAST 24+ hours. Wash your hands immediately after and be sure not to touch your face or other surfaces.

Pins Made It Home!!!
almost 4 years ago – Sun, Apr 12, 2020 at 08:55:57 PM

You guys I'm so happy! 😭The black and yellow pins that were missing are FINALLY here! And my manufacturer was kind enough to include some disposable masks.

I'll be in the process this week of packaging the residual orders and updating you guys as they go out. Not only for necessity of open communication but unfortunately this pandemic has affected the postal services as well:

We'll see this coming week how things pan out but please respect your postal works and other essential business workers! Try to stay inside as much as you can, use reusable masks, and wash your hands! We'll get through this soon enough.

Update On Pins & Orders (Let's fix this, guys!)
almost 4 years ago – Fri, Apr 03, 2020 at 05:33:38 PM

I would've thought the current virus outbreak would be the reason the yellow & black pins were still not here but when I inquired with my manufacturer unfortunately their production systems are facing errors.

They have been reputable and many other friends use them so it's crummy to see this happen. But since this is the only clog in the order process I'm thinking we can supplement this issue with other resolutions.

Here are the two solutions I've come up with that would be most convenient to both backers and myself:

  • If they're able to issue a refund on this pin order I could offer the option for backers that chose the pins in question other designs from my pin productions.
  • Or if we proceed with production of these pins everyone's orders will be sent out without the pins until later on when they finally do arrive (I assume the hats are the priority piece in these orders for everyone so pins can come second).

Let me know in the comments what you'd prefer! Honestly I see the second option being preferable both time wise and to stay on par with what the order expectations are.

I apologize to everyone that this is taking as long as it has regardless of the virus outbreak. That may cause an issue when these do get sent out internationally but I'll be sure to look into that before they are ready to be sent out.

Of course if you have any other inquiries or questions please either message me here or email me directly ✉️💗
